Thornsett

Mosaic Place, Purley

Thornsett were selected, by Purley Baptist Church, as the development partner for this regeneration project. Working with award winning architects Proctor & Matthews, Thornsett secured a resolution to grant from Croydon Council in December 2016 for 220 residential units and a new Baptist Church along with Community facilities. The Section 106 was signed by Croydon and the Mayor of London in April 2017, at which point the Secretary of State called in the application. Following two public inquires, and two recommendations for approval from the Planning Inspectorate, the scheme has now received full planning consent. Construction of Phase 1 is scheduled to complete in 2023 with Phase 2 scheduled to commence thereafter.
